Major executive leaders of ACFIC attended the successive democratic
consultative conferences under the auspices of the Central Committee
of the Chinese Communist Party.186 ACFIC members assumed the office
of repressentatives to the National People's Congress or of committee
members of the National Political Consultative Conference,While
more than 30 thousand other ACFIC members held the post of local
NPC representatives or committee members of local political consultative
conferences.
