Supreme People’s Procuratorate Takes Counsel of ACFIC

ACFIC has urged the Supreme People's Procuratorate to tighten procuratorial work on dereliction of duty and rights infringement by government agencies in order to promote administration by law and foster a favorable legal environment for the healthy development of enterprises.

ACFIC, along with the democratic parties and personages with no party affiliations, was invited to air their views on the work of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate at a meeting hosted by the latter on January 12, 2010.

Wang Yuan, Director of the ACFIC Department of Legal Affairs, also suggested that the Supreme People’s Procuratorate should handle cases implicating private enterprise management personnel according to the law to safeguard stable business operations; tighten legal supervision to protect the legitimate rights of the involved and safeguard judicial justice; and step up its liaison with the central leaderships of various democratic parties and ACFIC to improve the external supervision mechanism.
