CPC Secretary of Zhijin County of Guizhou Province Cui Yingkui said that a recent private enterprise investment fair jointly hosted by the province and ACFIC has introduced a number of big projects to his county with total contracted investment of 31.8 billion yuan. Cui paid a visit to ACFIC headquarters on January 17.

 

At a meeting with ACFIC Vice Chairman Xie Jingrong, Cui said that the projects, inked at the fair in Guiyang on December 22, 2011, will greatly bolster Zhijin's future economic development.

 

Xie said that Zhijin has made progress in promoting industrial projects, infrastructure construction, agricultural industrialization and industrial structural readjustment. He also urged the county to attach equal importance to enriching the local farmers, narrowing the rural and urban gap, and reducing its poor population.

 

Xie promised to augment ACFIC's support to Zhijin in projects and training in the future.

 

ACFIC Poverty Relief and Social Service Department Deputy Director Liu Jian briefed the participants about the two ongoing endeavors jointly promoted by Zhijin and his department, namely the Guangcai farmers assistance guarantee and grapes cultivation in Sanjia Village .
