The Indonesia-China Business Forum was held in Beijing on October 16. Gao Yunlong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), attended the forum and delivered a speech.

Gao Yunlong pointed out that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Indonesia and the 10th anniversary of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping. China is willing to work with Indonesia to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, push for new achievements and progress in high-quality building of the Belt and Road, and set an example of developing countries sharing a common destiny, solidarity and development.

Gao said that the business community is the backbone of the pragmatic cooperation between the two countries. He also expressed the hope that entrepreneurs of the two countries will explore more areas of cooperation, create more business opportunities for cooperation, achieve new cooperation results, and make greater contributions to deepening bilateral economic and trade relations.
