On August 5, the 2022 World Health Expo kicked off in Wuhan under the theme of “A Community of Health, A Future of Technology”, showcasing new products, new technologies and new achievements of the healthcare industry. Gao Yunlong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), delivered a speech at the expo.
  
On behalf of the ACFIC, Gao Yunlong extended his congratulations on the successful opening of the 2022 World Health Expo. He pointed out that the healthcare industry was connected to people’s well-being, as well as the economic development. It is a big sunrise industry with an emerging market to better people’s lives. Holding the World Health Expo is a concrete action to fully implement the guiding principles of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s speech and the decisions made by the central Party leadership, and is also a pragmatic step to promote the construction of Healthy China, which will surely inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of the healthcare industry.
 
Gao Yunlong stressed that the World Health Expo was expected to shape into an important platform for global health exhibition and communication, aiming to reach a consensus on international cooperation in healthcare and aggregate high-quality industrial resources at home and abroad. The expo was hoped to help accelerate the connectivity in healthcare and jointly promote the innovation and development of the healthcare industry, for the purpose of keeping up with people’s ever-growing needs for a healthy life and promoting the building of a community of common health for mankind. The private enterprises should actively seize the growing opportunities and strive to expand the “New Blue Ocean” of the healthcare industry. To provide a sound environment for private enterprises in the healthcare industry, the ACFIC will make full use of its functional strengths to enhance pragmatic cooperation with relevant authorities, in an attempt to make a valuable contribution to the high-quality development of China’s health undertakings.
